Self-harm wounds: assessment and management

چکیده
The management of self-harm (SH) wounds requires a non-judgemental holistic approach on the part health professional. It is important that SH are assessed, and interventions agreed between professional patient. This article looks at definitions provides guidance how professionals can make an accurate assessment wound and, in addition to agreement treatment with patient, provide patient education self-care.
